These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the nextRide application ("App"), website, content, products, and services (collectively, the "Services") provided by nextRid Intuit Limited ("nextRide," "we," or "us"), a private limited liability company established under the laws of Ghana. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, forming a legally binding agreement between you and nextRide. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
Supplemental terms may apply to certain Services, such as promotional offers, referral programs, or additional features. These supplemental terms will be disclosed in connection with the relevant Services and are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
nextRide provides a technology platform that enables users ("Riders") to arrange and schedule transportation services with independent third-party providers ("Drivers"). We do not provide transportation services or logistics services ourselves and are not a transportation carrier. All such services are provided by independent third-party contractors who are not employees or agents of nextRide.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, nextRide grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Access and use the App on your personal device solely in connection with the Services.
Access and use any content, information, and related materials made available through the Services, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by nextRide and its licensors.
To access the Services, you must register for and maintain an active personal user account ("Account"). You must be at least 18 years old to create an Account. Registration requires providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information, including your name, address, mobile phone number, and at least one valid payment method. Failure to maintain accurate information may result in suspension or termination of your Account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account and agree to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You may not allow others to use your Account. Notify nextRide immediately of any unauthorized access or use.
The Services are not available for persons under the age of 18. You may not request transportation services for unaccompanied minors.
You agree to use the Services in accordance with all applicable laws and not to:
Use the Services for illegal purposes.
Cause nuisance, annoyance, or inconvenience.
Transport illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items.
Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against Drivers or others.
You are responsible for obtaining the necessary devices and internet access to use the Services. Standard data and messaging charges may apply.
You agree to pay all charges for transportation services provided by Drivers, including base fares, tolls, surcharges, and applicable taxes. Charges are due immediately and will be facilitated by nextRide as the Driver's limited payment collection agent.
You may cancel a ride request at any time before the Driver's arrival. However, a cancellation fee may apply if the Driver is already en route.
You are responsible for repair or cleaning costs resulting from damage or excessive mess caused by you during a ride. nextRide will facilitate payment on behalf of the Driver.
nextRide may, at its discretion, offer promotions or credits. These are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be subject to expiration or specific conditions.
By submitting content through the Services (e.g., reviews, feedback), you grant nextRide a
worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable license to use, modify, distribute, and display your content.
You may not submit content that is defamatory, hateful, obscene, or otherwise offensive. nextRide reserves the right to remove such content at its discretion.
You agree not to:
Use the Services to commit any unlawful act.
Access the Services through unauthorized means.
Interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
Use automated scripts to collect data from the Services.
Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your data as described therein.
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. nextRide disclaims all implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
nextRide is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Services.
You agree to indemnify and hold nextRide harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
You are responsible for your belongings. nextRide is not liable for items left in a Driver's vehicle.
If you leave an item, you may contact nextRide support. While we will assist in contacting the Driver, we do not guarantee recovery.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules Ghana. The arbitration shall be conducted in Ghana.
You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
nextRide shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to causes beyond its control, including acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, or internet failures.
All rights, titles, and interests in the Services remain the exclusive property of nextRide or its licensors. You may not use nextRide's trademarks or logos without prior written consent.
You may not assign these Terms without prior written consent from nextRide. nextRide may assign or transfer its rights without restriction.
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and nextRide.
Notices may be provided via the App, email, or postal mail. You agree to update your contact information to receive notices.
nextRide reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be effective upon posting on the App or website. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the changes.
